Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking an Engineer to maintain and repair buildings, utilities, grounds and equipment while ensuring a safe environment. Under supervision of Chief Engineer, you will apply best practices to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, keep logbooks, and support energy conservation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience maintaining HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Knowledge of building energy conservation practices.
• Experience with building automation systems.
• Formal safety training and compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs buildings, utilities, grounds and equipment.
• Optimizes repair and maintenance of HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoots and repairs equipment and system problems to resolve issues efficiently.
• Maintains continuous operations by troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
• Provides hands-on training and collaboration to other engineering team members.
• Records data in building logbooks and daily entries.
• Complies with safety programs and facility policies.
