Job summary

Quanta Consultancy Services Ltd seeks a Building System Owner for a 12-month contract in Ohio, United States, to support a large life sciences facility project. The role focuses on overseeing MEP systems, coordinating installation and readiness, and acting as the single point of contact for construction queries.

You will monitor MEP system status, coordinate resolution of issues, and escalate risks to ensure alignment with project requirements and schedule.

Qualifications

• Monitor MEP system status and coordinate issue resolution impacting readiness.
• Identify and escalate risks, issues and changes affecting MEP readiness, quality or schedule.
• Review field changes and as-built updates for MEP systems, escalating design-related matters.

Responsibilities

• Act as single point of contact for MEP system queries on construction status, installation, readiness – covering electrical, instrumentation, and building automation systems.
• Support CQL in confirming installed MEP systems align with approved requirements, identifying and escalating discrepancies.
• Monitor installation progress across MEP equipment, distribution systems, and terminations to ensure systems meet intended operational needs.
• Escalate and manage risks, issues, and changes impacting MEP readiness, quality, or schedule.

We’re looking for a Building System Owner to support this project and help deliver this world-class program.

What you’ll deliver:

• Acting as the single point of contact for MEP system-related queries on construction status, installation, readiness, and coordination.
• Monitoring MEP system status and coordinating resolution of construction and installation issues impacting readiness.
• Escalating quality non-conformances to the Construction Quality Lead (CQL).
• Identifying, managing, and escalating risks, issues, and changes impacting MEP system readiness, quality, or schedule.
• Providing forward planning and ensuring cross-functional alignment of construction, turnover, and readiness activities for MEP systems.

What you’ll need:

• Act as single point of contact for MEP system queries on construction status, installation, and readiness – covering electrical, instrumentation, and building automation systems.
• Support the Construction Quality Lead (CQL) in confirming installed MEP systems align with approved requirements, identifying and escalating discrepancies.
