## Building Supervisor, Recreation CenterApply: Carleton College Campus: Part time: Posted Yesterday: R-01633**Position Title:** Building Supervisor, Recreation Center**Department:** Physical Education, Athletics, and Recreation (PEAR)**Status:** Part-Time (12–18 hours/week), Non-Exempt, Regular Staff (Non-Benefit Eligible)**Reports To:** Director of Campus Recreation & Recreation Center Manager**Open Date:** Immediate**Position Summary**The Recreation Center Building Supervisor ensures operational safety, facility coverage, and outstanding customer service across all Physical Education, Athletics, and Recreation (PEAR) spaces. This role maintains an inclusive, safe environment for students, faculty, staff, and external guests across recreational, academic, athletic, and special event programming.**Compensation:**$16.55- $17.10/hr.**Key Responsibilities**· **Facility Operations:** Execute daily opening and closing procedures, conduct hourly safety and cleanliness walkthroughs, and setup/breakdown equipment for fieldhouse courts, club sports, intramurals, and special events.· **Customer Service & Front Desk Support:** Greet visitors, process user check-ins, answer inquiries, manage equipment checkouts, and provide direction on facility amenities.· **Staff Supervision:** Oversee and support student workers assigned to the front desk and fitness center areas during operational hours.· **Safety & Emergency Response:** Serve as a primary on-site responder during incidents.
