Job description

Cromwell Public Schools is looking for Building Sub Paraeducator for Edna C. Stevens. The Building Sub Paraeducator will work with a variety of students with disabilities. This involves supporting students in all aspects of their day and the ability to work in diverse classroom settings under the direction of the special and or regular education teachers which may include therapy activities, toileting, lifting, field trips, life skill instruction, and all other duties as assigned by the teacher and/or building principal.

Qualifications

Associates degree; 60 college credits; or a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment. Experience working with children is preferred. Please see Paraeducator job description for a complete description of the duties of the position.

Compensation

$115.00 per day (6.5 hours per day with a 30 minute unpaid lunch), sick and personal time, and health benefits.
