You will perform structural analysis and design for diverse building types, conduct field investigations, and contribute to construction documents for Federal/local government, industrial, and manufacturing projects.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of structural design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with Structural Concentration from an ABET-accredited program.
• Experience with structural design and analysis software (RISA, STAAD).
• Experience with drafting and modeling software (Revit and AutoCAD).
• Knowledge of building codes and standards (IBC, ASCE, ACI).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building types and materials.

We are seeking experienced Structural Engineers to join our Structural/Marine Group in our Richmond, VA office.

Come join our collaborative team of engineers and architects on a variety of challenging projects, including buildings, industrial facilities, mission critical/secure facilities, water/wastewater plants, and waterfront facilities. WRA has a strong mentoring culture and a focus on staff development.

Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building types and materials. Conduct field investigations, develop concept designs, and create construction documents for clients across a broad range of markets, including Federal/Local Government, Industrial, and Manufacturing.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of structural design experience


• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with Structural Concentration from an ABET accredited program.

The expected compensation range for this position is $90,000.00 - $185,000.00. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
