Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking an Assistant Manager, Building Services for the George Í. Sanchez Building in the College of Education.

The role serves as the daily point of contact for building operations, overseeing life safety, security, and maintenance in collaboration with the Construction and Facilities Manager. You will coordinate with campus occupants and UT departments to keep spaces functional and safe.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Minimum 6 years of facilities maintenance or related building operations.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings with UT's COE facilities team and monitor requests.
• Conduct daily facilities walk-throughs and report issues.
• Schedule maintenance and janitorial services.
• Coordinate equipment and furniture moves.
• Maintain EPSS, AEDs, fire extinguishers, and emergency plans.
• Enter service requests in WORKS and report completion.
