Required Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent and post-secondary training or work experience
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following functions have been determined by Silver Creek School Corporation to be essential to the successful performance of this position.
- Serve as the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors, providing a welcoming and professional office environment.
- Manage the front office, including answering phones, responding to emails, and directing inquiries appropriately.
- Maintain accurate student records, including enrollment, attendance, and demographic information.
- Process student registrations, withdrawals, and transfers in accordance with district procedures.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, newsletters, and school communications.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for administrators and school events.
- Assist with coordination of school activities, meetings, and events.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and in compliance with privacy laws and district policies.
- Manage office supplies and place orders as needed.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Assist with substitute teacher coordination and staff attendance tracking.
- Support building administration with clerical duties, reports, and data entry.
- Provide support during emergencies by following school safety protocols and procedures.
- Adhere to and support board policy, school guidelines, administrative rules and directives.
- Respond to correspondence from both staff, students, and parents in a timely manner
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed or as directed by the School Building Principals or Superintendent.
