Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering or architecture and 5 years' plan review experience.
• Lead or supervisory experience is desirable.
• ICC certifications required; Building Official certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Permit Service Center and Plan Check program areas.
• Assist in developing and implementing policies and programs.
• Interpret codes and regulations for a variety of assignments.
• Provide information to clients and community members.
• Act as Building Official in the absence of the Building and Safety Manager.
