Job summary

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in a building trade with reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Possess able to obtain required licenses within one year.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and inspects plans, drawings, and electrical installations to ensure code compliance.
• Prepares inspection and defect reports as necessary.
• Reviews plumbing and mechanical installations to ensure compliance with codes.
• Inspects all aspects of building construction for code compliance (electrical, plumbing, gas, mechanical, etc.).
• Inspects gas pipes and fittings for leaks and proper pressure.
• Maintains knowledge of applicable codes and regulations.
