PURPOSE
The primary purpose of this position is to screen and provide appropriate access to high-school campus buildings. Individuals will be responsible for supporting safety and security of students and staff within each building. This positionwill greet visitors upon arrival, supervise in hallways, lunchroom, and various other campus locations. The Aidewill help support safety and security throughout the building by allowing and monitoring visitors to the building and controlling access points.This position will also help assist in managing/monitoring behaviors in the common areas. This position is a district wide position and may be required at other locations.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum: Highschool Diploma or equivalent;Missouri Substitute teaching certificate is required; Ability to walk long distances; Ability to watch video camera footage for long periods of time; Positive and appropriate communication skills.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree; Prior experience with security camera and entry systems.
