Taylor Management Company is seeking a dependable Building Porter to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of a residential property. Reporting to the Resident Superintendent, you will clean lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, shared amenities, and exterior areas while handling trash, recycling, and snow/ice removal.

You will assist with turnovers, deliveries, vendors, and basic maintenance as directed.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable Building Porter to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of a residential property. Reporting to the Resident Superintendent, the Porter will clean lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, shared amenities, and exterior areas; manage trash and recycling; support snow and ice removal; and assist with apartment turnovers, deliveries, vendors, and basic maintenance activities as directed.

Qualifications and Expectations:

The ideal candidate is reliable, attentive to detail, able to perform physical cleaning and material-handling tasks, and committed to responsive resident service. The Porter must promptly report leaks, safety concerns, security issues, equipment problems, and other building conditions; follow sanitation and emergency procedures; and adjust daily priorities when weather, repairs, or operational needs require. Related building, custodial, or porter experience is preferred. Must be able to lift 25 pounds. 30 hours a week. $16.50-$17.50 per hour.
