Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma and five years of related building plans review experience.

Responsibilities

• Examine residential and commercial building plans for compliance with applicable codes and ordinances using DigEplan.
• Review electrical, mechanical, and plumbing plans for code compliance and proper installations.
• Provide service advisor support to the public and professionals for plan reviews and code interpretations.
• Prepare detailed deficiency letters citing applicable code sections for plan reviews.
• Coordinate input for the Code Enforcement Board and provide preliminary reviews with design professionals prior to permitting.
