Job summary

Garver is seeking a Mechanical Engineer - EI for its Tulsa, OK office. You will develop mechanical designs for Buildings projects, focusing on HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, energy modeling, and sustainability reporting.

The role emphasizes collaboration across disciplines, using BIM (Revit) to create construction drawings, and performing design calculations in Excel while maintaining schedule and quality control.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in mechanical or architectural engineering with a mechanical focus.
• Minimum 3 years of building design and construction industry experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles related to building designs.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in Revit.
• Experience with MS Office Suite and design calculations.
• Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical designs for Buildings projects (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection).
• Coordinate with other disciplines and regional offices on projects.
• Assist project managers in managing projects and QA/QC plans.
• Travel periodically to project sites as required.
