Job summary

Garver is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Tulsa to develop building mechanical designs and lead planning, design, and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. The role also covers whole-building energy modeling and sustainability reporting.

You will coordinate with other disciplines and Garver regional offices, assist project managers in delivering projects, follow QA/QC plans, and periodic travel to project sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or architectural engineering with a mechanical focus from an ABET-accredited program.
• Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
• 5–10 years of building design and construction experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles for building systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection).
• Proficient with Autodesk Revit and MS Office; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical designs for buildings including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
• Lead energy modeling and sustainability reporting for projects.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and Garver offices; manage project budgets and schedules.
• Support project managers and travel to project sites as required.
