Description of Work
Perform skilled maintenance and repair to all Campus Recreation facility mechanical systems, including: HVAC , electrical, mechanical and pneumatic components. Trouble-shoot, repair and maintain equipment such as pumps, motors, air compressors, sump systems, washers, dryers, and other appliances. Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules. Support contractors on the repair and maintenance of complex systems. Availability to assist with emergencies outside of normal work hours required. Assist with various Campus Recreation events and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications
High school education, 6 years experience with building HVAC systems and building maintenance of which three years experience with Commercial HVAC systems are required; equivalent education/experience considered. Experience operating hand and power tools essential.
Must have a valid driver’s license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant coursework, or specialized training beyond high school. Knowledge and experience with all facets of commercial building maintenance such as HVAC , electrical, mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, experience with hand and power tools, etc, Mechanical experience including trouble shooting, repairs, rebuild & replace pumps, motors, bearing etc. Ability to work in confined spaces.
