Job summary

As a Customer Service Associate with Lowe's, you will welcome customers and help them find the right products and services for their home improvement needs, working in departments such as Appliances, Flooring, Hardware, or Pro Services. You will engage customers throughout the day, answer questions, process orders, and support loading and merchandising tasks while evolving across store areas.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer
• 6 months experience using common retail technology
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic
• Able to stand for long periods and perform job duties
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or more with accommodation if needed

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
