Job summary

The Outside Sales Representative at Tibbetts Lumber Co. LLC serves as the face of the company, driving sales and delivering outstanding customer service across the Florida territory. You will gather customer needs, create tailored proposals, and coordinate with design and production to ensure seamless service delivery.

You will travel across the territory, quote jobs, manage accounts, and resolve delivery issues while maintaining strong communication with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Must have prior selling experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of home building.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform building material take-offs, provide quotes to prospective customers.
• Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads; follow up on all building permits in sales territory.
• Travels regularly throughout territory to call on regular and prospective customer to solicit orders or talk with customers by phone.
• Display or demonstrates product to customers.
• Coordinate with the shipping manager and customer as to the timing deliveries are needed.
• Work with Sales Coordinator to keep account activities up to date, let them know how each customer should be handled, who they will be dealing with, and what details need to be on each invoice.
• Investigate and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.
