Job summary

Builders FirstSource, Inc. in Michigan seeks a delivery driver to load, transport, and deliver materials to customer sites. You will ensure on-time, safe deliveries and provide professional service; non-CDL drivers will operate vehicles up to 26,000 pounds.

Responsibilities include securing loads, verifying orders, maintaining logs, and handling customer concerns. You will perform safety checks, use handheld devices for DVIR/HOS, and support safety through compliance and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 21+ years old with valid license.
• DOT medical card within five days of request; pass MVR check.
• Delivery experience desirable, especially with building materials.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure products inside the delivery vehicle.
• Deliver orders to customer sites and unload safely and accurately.
• Verify order details, maintain logs of deliveries, mileage and locations.
• Serve as the customer service liaison between BFS and customers.
• Perform routine safety checks and operate hand held devices per DVIR/HOS.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and comply with safety procedures.
