Job summary

Builders FirstSource in Pequot Lakes, MN, is looking for a capable driver to load, transport and deliver building materials to customer sites. You will secure loads, operate delivery vehicles, and ensure timely, undamaged deliveries while providing professional service.

This role requires a valid driver's license, MVR checks, and the ability to read and speak English. You will log deliveries, observe safety protocols, and may operate a forklift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 21+ years old.
• Valid driver’s license and MVR check.
• DOT medical card within five days of request.
• Less than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Loads and appropriately secures product inside delivery vehicle.
• Delivers customer orders to specified delivery site and unloads materials safely.
• Verifies order details and maintains logs of delivery duties.
• Acts as a customer service liaison between BFS and the site customer.
• Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of delivery vehicles and performs safety checks.
• Uses handheld devices (DVIR/HOS) as required, not while driving.
• Maintains hours of service logs and pre/post trip inspections.
• May perform credit/product return pickups and related paperwork.
• Operates a forklift or non-motorized equipment to load/off-load materials.
• Observes safety procedures and attends safety meetings; suggests safety improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.
