US LBM is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to assist contractors and customers across our Austin area showroom. You will take orders over the counter, answer questions, and process payments while ensuring accurate records.

The role involves product selection assistance, invoicing, stock upkeep, potential forklift training, and location-specific tasks. A high school diploma and 1-3 years building materials sales experience are preferred; you must be able to work Saturdays and evenings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of building material knowledge and sales experience preferred.
• Commitment to excellent customer service and strong communication.
• Detail oriented with ability to multi-task.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Strong math skills and calculator proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer questions about merchandise, pricing, and deliveries.
• Process sales, handle payments, and make correct change.
• Create invoices and enter orders into the system.
• Maintain showroom appearance and stock levels.
• Assist with yard and warehouse operations as needed.
