Qualifications

• Previous retail management experience, preferably in building materials
• Experience selling installed sales to contractors is preferred
• Proven track record in sales management in building materials
• Ability to direct and train others effectively as a team leader
• Demonstrated ability to increase sales and profitability
• Well developed problem solving abilities and strong conflict resolution skills

Responsibilities

• Store Operations: manage the overall direction of the store, delegate inventory management, safety compliance and communicate sales and profit goals to the team
• Staff Management: hire, motivate, discipline and communicate with employees to meet goals
• Sales & Relationship Building: grow inside sales, complete estimates and take-offs on time, maintain relationships and handle customer concerns
• Knowledge & Training: identify growth needs, complete required training, pursue ongoing product knowledge and career development
