Position Type : Full-time; Non-exempt

Pay Range : $22 - $27 / hour, based on experience and qualifications

Air Squared Manufacturing, Inc. is an OEM manufacturer of scroll type compressors, vacuum pumps and expanders for the medical, aerospace, fuel cell and power generation industries. Air Squared offers exciting career opportunities working on projects including NASA MOXIE, Leading Electric and Autonomous Vehicle OEM, DOE Clean Energy initiatives ranging from nuclear fusion and the Advanced Research Projects Agency - Energy (ARPA-e), and other cutting-edge projects.

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician for our Machine Shop. The Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for helping the rest of the maintenance team with projects, HVAC and compressor maintenance. They will mostly perform CNC upkeep, such as filter cleaning and oil changes. We are looking for someone with an ability to learn electronics and programs in the future. There is a lot of room for growth. Must have a basic mechanic's mind or background, mechanically inclined and knows how to use a lot of standard tools.

Maintenance Technician I Job Responsibilities :

• Perform basic CNC maintenance such as inspecting the machines, and changing filters
• Coordinate service calls for the machine shop as needed
• Read and follow instructions including, but not limited to, safety policies and procedure manuals
• Report any issues to Maintenance Manager
• Basic equipment maintenance oil & filter changes, safety inspections, etc.

Occasionally

• Perform basic HVAC and air compressor maintenance such as changing filters, inspection and changing oil
• Perform light plumbing, basic carpentry, painting, drywall repair, basic roof leak repair door and hardware repair
• Perform basic electrical (120V) - wire switches, lights, fans, outlets and can run Ethernet and phone lines
• Construct new wall and change existing walls
• Install and maintain air lines
• Related experience should include, light plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, painting, drywall repair, basic roof leak repair door and hardware repair
• Other duties as assigned

Maintenance Technician I Qualifications :

• MUST SUBMIT YOUR RESUME TO BE CONSIDERED
• Valid Driver's License and must possess good DMV report (required)
• Minimum of 2-5 years' Mechanical experience (preferred)
• Highly mechanically inclined (required)
• Would consider someone with a background in automotive mechanics
• HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting experience (preferred)
• Forklift and scissor lift experience (preferred)
• Must possess a strong work ethic and integrity
