Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other critical building systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance issues independently.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly while ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
• Inspect facilities for safety concerns and perform corrective maintenance to maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain maintenance records, manage inventory of tools and supplies, and coordinate with contractors for specialized repairs.

Our client, a leading organization in facility management and building operations, is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician 5 to join their team. As a Building Maintenance Technician 5, you will be part of the Facilities Maintenance Department supporting building operations, property management teams, and facility occupants. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical troubleshooting abilities, excellent organizational skills, and outstanding customer service, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Washington, DC
Pay Range: $26-$28/hr

What's the Job?

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other critical building systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance issues independently.
