COMPENSATION: $19.00 - $25.00 an hour DOE

PURPOSE

The Facility Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment and systems to ensure smooth operations and a positive member experience. The role requires diligence, organization, and strong customer service skills.

DELIVERABLES

The key responsibilities include:

• Communication: Daily updates to the General Manager, documenting work, and seeking feedback on quality and needs.
• Scheduling & Planning: Collaborate with the General Manager to schedule and verify work completion.
• Inspection and Testing: Regularly inspect and test equipment and systems.
• Safety: Ensure safety of members, staff, and assets through inspections and communication.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair malfunctions.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct inspections and preventive tasks using CMMS system.
• Repairs: Fix mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues.
• Work Orders: Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and codes.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate maintenance records and update work orders daily.
• Equipment Monitoring: Monitor building systems for optimal performance.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain gym equipment, assemble new equipment, and refurbish as needed.
• Emergency Response: Address urgent maintenance issues promptly.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with staff, contractors, and vendors.
• General Upkeep: Perform tasks like painting, carpentry, and groundskeeping.
