Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician in Richmond, VA. The role supports the Operations Department with maintenance and technical services across commercial/industrial facilities.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC, electrical, lighting, and safety systems while documenting work in CMMS. Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years of related experience, solid mechanical ability across trades, and basic computer skills with familiarity in Building Management

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related experience in commercial facility maintenance.
• Good general knowledge of trades and mechanical ability.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with Building Management Systems preferred.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operational maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on commercial/industrial buildings and systems.
• Inspect, calibrate, maintain, test, and repair facility systems including HVAC, electrical, lighting, fire safety, boilers, refrigeration units, compressors, motors, pumps, and controls.
• Perform carpentry, plumbing, painting, and snow removal to ensure the integrity of building infrastructure and grounds.
• Utilize CMMS computer systems to document tasks, maintain equipment histories, and input work orders efficiently.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to OSHA, local, and company safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
