Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking aMaintenance Technician for our Pittsburgh area property. You will support maintenance needs for guest rooms and public areas, ensuring repairs are completed promptly and safely to uphold service quality.

The role requires the ability to perform general repairs on a busy hotel, respond to guest needs with courtesy, and coordinate with other departments to maintain the building and systems. Weekend availability is needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel or resort maintenance is preferred.
• Knowledge of repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing) is desirable.
• Strong communication and guest-focused mindset are essential.

What you will have an opportunity to do:

• meet service quality standards that affect guest satisfaction;
• respond to guest questions or problems in a timely professional manner
• perform general repairs and assigned maintenance duties in a satisfactory and timely manner
• respond to complaints or problems from guests or other departments in a timely manner
• be responsible for maintaining the upkeep, rehabilitation, and maintenance of the entire hotel facility, including the physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventative maintenance programs

• Someone with a experience working in a Maintenance role at a hotel or resort
• Someone with knowledge of "household" repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
• Someone with an engaging and welcoming personality
• Someone with a strong attention to detail
• Someone who can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Someone with a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
• Someone with excellent communication skills
• Someone who is available to work various shifts to include weekends and holidays
• Ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull throughout duration of shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
