Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Phoenix to support building systems and equipment. You will develop and execute a preventive maintenance schedule for HVAC, cooling towers, conveyors, parking areas, and safety equipment, while maintaining records and responding to work orders to meet budget targets.

The role emphasizes reliability and safety, with no supervisory responsibilities. Start pay is $24 per hour, with full-time hours on the first shift, and benefits aligned with

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for facilities equipment (HVAC, cooling towers, chillers, conveyors, grounds).
• Maintain PM record database per ISO requirements (preventive and predictive maintenance).
• Monitor and complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Ensure facilities support meeting operational budgets and requirements.

Responsible for building and facility maintenance including the following:

• Complete PM schedule for all facilities equipment including Building structure AC/ Heating Systems Cooling tower and chillers Conveyor / rail system Outside grounds and parking lot Fire extinguishers; cranes; eye wash stations and safety equipment
• Maintain PM record database as required by ISO system Includes preventive and predictive maintenance
• Monitor and complete all work orders in a timely manner
• Maintain all facilities in a manner and enable plant to meet all operational budgets and requirements

Education and Experience

• One-year College or university program certificate; or three to six month’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to work with basic mathematical skills.

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
