Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Pharr, TX is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to support a variety of property management and facilities operations. You will perform general repairs, inspect buildings, and respond to maintenance requests to keep facilities safe and functional.

The role requires hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC basics, plus the ability to read work orders and follow blueprints. A proactive, reliable team player is ideal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven experience in building maintenance, handyman work, or a related field.
• Strong working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Ability to read work orders, blueprints, or manuals as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair work, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, and minor HVAC tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and grounds to identify maintenance needs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations.
• Repair or replace damaged fixtures, doors, locks, lighting, flooring, and hardware.
• Maintain building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and mechanical components.

Our client, a leader in property management and facilities services, is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Building Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Facilities / Operations department supporting property management and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Pharr, TX

Pay Range: $11.00

Shift: Monday through Friday 8-630PM
