City of Odessa is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to perform basic building and grounds maintenance, graffiti removal, and custodial duties within City facilities. The role requires following safety rules, reporting hazards, and maintaining regular attendance.
The position involves minor repairs, operating cleaning tools, and supporting city operations while interacting professionally with the public and staff. A valid Texas driver’s license may be required for duties.
Summary: Under close supervision, performs basic building maintenance, graffiti removal and custodial services in City buildings and grounds for the Building Services Department. (BSD).

Work is performed in City facilities; requires ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift objects; may be exposed to safety hazards and dangerous tools and equipment. City approved safety shoes must be worn. Must be available for 24-hour call.
