Job description

Job Location

Murray, UT; West Valley City

Job Responsibilities
  1. Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and minor structural repairs.
  2. Respond to repair requests from tenants and ACE personnel, ensuring timely resolution.
  3. Conduct routine inspections to identify areas for improvement and address potential issues.
  4. Collaborate with the maintenance and facilities team to prioritize repair tasks and report on ongoing work status.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized workspace; ensure tools and equipment are in good condition.
  6. Manage inventory, request supplies and parts as needed.
  7. Complete repair orders with notes, parts, and labor in a timely manner.
  8. Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or large projects.
  9. Work schedule: Monday - Friday, some Saturdays, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with overtime.
  10. Starting wage: $22.00 - $26.00/hour DOE.

Experience and Skills
  • Must submit resume and complete background check (BG) and motor vehicle report (MVR).
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician, handyman, or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of building systems such as plumbing, HVAC, and electrical.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English sufficiently to communicate with supervisors and peers.
  • Effective troubleshooting and problem resolution skills with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to handle physical tasks and lift 75 lbs or more.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
