Job description

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. This role includes maintaining common areas, meeting spaces, restaurants, fitness centers, and pools, as well as performing preventative maintenance for guest rooms and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment. If you are proactive, dependable, and skilled in repairs, we’d love to hear from you. Responsibilities: • Provide after-hours and weekend support as needed for urgent maintenance needs. • Conduct regular upkeep of guest rooms, public areas, and mechanical systems to ensure smooth operations. • Inspect public areas daily to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality. • Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests, ensuring efficient resolution. • Address repair needs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and landscaping. Qualifications: • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs. • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Proficiency in PMS Rooms Management, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint • Availability for on-call hours, including weekends. Compensation: $21+ hourly
