Sea Colony Association East, located in Bethany Beach, DE, is seeking a Building Maintenance Staff member to support a hospitality-focused property managed by Troon. The role entails hands-on maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of both interior and exterior areas on a full-time basis.

The ideal candidate brings an associates degree or two years of related experience, with knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems, and a commitment to reliable attendance.

• Regular and reliable attendance is a must.

Responsibilities

• Performs general repairs, inspections, and maintenance for all areas of the operation, including building, systems, and grounds.
• Maintains exterior cleanliness and appearance, including trash, sweeping, litter pickup, and outdoor furniture.
• Maintains interior cleanliness and appearance (trash, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, furniture).
• Identifies and reports required supplies to supervisor and inputs in workorder system.
• Performs other duties as required.

Key Responsibilities of the Building Maintenance Staff:

• Performs general repairs, inspections, and maintenance for all areas within the operation, including but not limited to common aspects of the building, buildings’ systems and grounds.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of interior areas of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.
• Identifies and reports needed supplies to supervisor.
• Response and input in the workorder system.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications for the Building Maintenance Staff:

• Associates degree or two years of related experience associated with Building maintenance.

Other Qualifications:

• Possessesgeneralknowledgeof the buildings’operatingelectrical, plumbing,along with the buildings operating systems, such as elevators, domestic water pumps, all forms of life safety. (Training for all components provided by each trade.)
• Regular and reliable attendanceis a must.

Full-TimeBuilding Maintenance - Great benefit package and Paid Time Off

40 hours a week/schedulehas flexibility with days off and shift times

Responsibilities of building maintenance include maintaining the exterior areas of the building(s)/cleanliness of all common areas, learning the operations of the buildings' systems, regular and reliable attendance required, and other duties as assigned
