Job summary

Sunrise Park Resort in Greer, Arizona seeks a reliable Maintenance Worker to assist in maintaining buildings, equipment and property, and to support remodeling and new construction tasks including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical utilities.

Responsibilities include daily upkeep of resort facilities, inspections, balancing priorities, troubleshooting issues, performing repairs when possible and coordinating with the Maintenance Manager as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Carpentry and Electrical certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resort facilities interiors and exteriors.
• Assist with daily inspections of facilities.
• Balance priorities to complete duties in a timely manner.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot maintenance issues and complete repairs when possible.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections of all buildings.

Job description

Full Description

• Maintaining resort facilities, including employee housing.
• Daily upkeep of associated facilities(interior/exterior), tools & equipment.
• Assistwith daily inspections of facilities.
• Efficiently and safely balance priorities to execute dutiesin a timely manner.
• Respondto ,diagnose, and troubleshoot maintenance issues of all kinds,attemptingto complete repairs yourself, and communicating with the Maintenance Manager when you are unable.
• Complete preventative maintenance inspections of all buildings ensuring the integrity of all assets.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate
• Must be willing to work on Weekends and Holidays.
• Strong communicationand organizational skills, detail oriented
• Strong people skills, a team player
• Basic maintenance/problem solving skillsrequired.
• Basic hand tool knowledge is mandatory.
• Willingness and ability to learn and develop skillsonthe job.
• Carpentry and Electrical certifications a plus.
