Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician II to oversee building infrastructure, HVAC and electrical systems, and related support. You will assist in monitoring safety and compliance with industry codes and company standards.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, logging work in CMMS, coordinating with supervisors, and supporting outside contractors as needed.

Qualifications

• Prefer Electrical License, Plumbing License, HVAC Certification/Schooling, Building Code Knowledge, Welding Certification.
• 2-5 years in Building or Electrical Maintenance; ammonia experience preferred.
• Associate Degree or equivalent in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Building Trade Certification.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of building systems including wet sprinkler systems, dry sprinkler systems, pre-action sprinkler systems, compressed air systems, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assist leads and managers with Building, HVAC, and Electrical systems including monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Conduct preventive maintenance (PMs) within established timelines, leak detection, and energy management.
• Log time and materials into CMMS daily; communicate updates to management and maintenance teams.
• Assist in coordinating outside building, mechanical/HVAC, and electrical contractors during service and new work.
• Assist in development of budgets for projects and capital expenditures.
