Job summary

Fitzgerald Auto Mall in Chambersburg seeks a full-time Facility Maintenance Technician to keep our dealership safe, organized, and operating at its best. You will handle building, grounds, and equipment maintenance; automotive repair experience is not required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in facility maintenance or related field.
• Strong handyman and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance needs.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs and perform physical duties.
• No automotive repair experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform light HVAC repairs and routine filter maintenance.
• Maintain dealership buildings and grounds.
• Perform parking lot maintenance, including pavement and parking-space marking.
• Complete minor plumbing and drain repairs.
• Perform general building repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Identify facility issues and assist with repairs before they become larger problems.
• Maintain workshop, maintenance, and storage areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Assist with snow removal, salting, and other winter weather responsibilities.
• Perform other general facility maintenance duties as needed.

Hiring Immediately: Facility Maintenance Technician

Fitzgerald Auto Mall is seeking a full-time Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team.

We are looking for a dependable, hands-on individual who takes pride in keeping a facility safe, organized, and operating at its best. This position is responsible for a variety of general building, property, and equipment maintenance needs. Automotive experience is not required.

• Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs. and perform the physical duties associated with facility maintenance
• Dependable, organized, and willing to respond to changing facility needs
• No automotive repair experience required
