What you will be doing:

Under general supervision, this role involves specialized maintenance and mechanical repair of the department's facilities to ensure continuous operations.

Responsibilities:

• Review work requests, progress, schedules, and priorities to ensure efficient use of personnel and equipment.
• Handle emergency and unscheduled work requests, arranging prompt services.
• Perform quality control to ensure repairs and work are completed correctly.
• Prepare reports, work orders, and documentation as required.
• Respond to customer requests, status updates, and complaints; research and resolve issues appropriately.
• Conduct safety and environmental checks, coordinating with building engineering and management.
• Support janitorial services to maintain cleanliness and housekeeping.
• Assist with parts operations, including scrapping and disposal.
• Operate material handling equipment such as Hilo, Skid-Steer, and Pallet Jacks.

Areas of Responsibility:

Electrical systems, Mechanical systems, Plumbing, HVAC, Infrastructure repairs and maintenance.

What you will need to be successful:

Essential:

• High School Diploma
• 5 years of Maintenance experience
• Computer Skills: Utilize word processing, spreadsheet, and related software to complete administrative tasks efficiently.
• Time Management: Plan and organize daily work routine, estimate completion times, and establish personal schedules accordingly.
• Interpersonal Relationships/Customer Service: Develop and maintain cooperative and professional relationships with employees.

Physical Requirements:

Regularly perform moderately physically demanding tasks involving climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting or carrying moderately heavy objects.
