Job summary

Guardian Service Industries, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to oversee daily maintenance of common areas and respond to resident requests with a focus on safety and cleanliness. You will report to Building Management and coordinate closely with on-site staff.

The role requires basic maintenance skills, strong customer service, and the ability to read and write English fluently. Candidates must arrive on site within 30 minutes when not living on site and hold a plumbing license, if

Reading and writing in English required.
Basic maintenance skills required.
Ability to interact professionally with residents and management.

Responsibilities

Acts as a conduit for normal maintenance requests and communicates with the appropriate manager/supervisor.
Performs other duties as directed by building management.
General plumbing repair (toilet, faucets, minor leaks).
Minor electrical repairs (outlets, switches, bulbs).
Replace doors, hardware, tiles; perform cosmetic updates as needed.
Maintain and service building equipment and systems.
Process work orders and assist with janitorial tasks when needed.
