Woodbine Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Building Maintenance/HVAC Technician to maintain a 307-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care facility. The role focuses on keeping building systems functioning, performing repairs, and supporting a safe, welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Shift runs 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a competitive hourly range of $25.00–$30.00 based on experience and incentives.

Qualifications

• Three years of general maintenance experience required.
• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Word/Excel and basic computer use.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• COVID vaccination required.

Responsabilités

• Perform general maintenance and repair work, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and other facility systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair building equipment and systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Support preventative maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend system longevity.
• Maintain knowledge of building systems, equipment, and applicable building codes and regulations.
• Utilize basic computer systems (Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, or similar platforms) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and communicate updates.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly while prioritizing resident safety and comfort.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety procedures, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

• Three (3) years of general maintenance experience required, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, or related trades.

• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical experience strongly preferred.

• Basic computer proficiency required, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet-based systems.

• Strong knowledge of building equipment, building systems, and applicable building codes.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.
