Job summary

Mount Holly Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a full-time role in New Jersey. The position covers general maintenance, repairs, and safety compliance to keep resident areas comfortable and safe.

Salary ranges from $18.00 to $21.00 per hour, with daily pay availability and benefits including health coverage and a 401(k). Flexible shifts may be required to support resident care needs.

Qualifications

• Three years of general maintenance experience required.
• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical experience preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (Word/Excel) required.
• Knowledge of building systems and codes.
• Flexibility to work day, evening, weekend, or holiday shifts.

Responsibilities for Maintenance Technician:

• Perform general maintenance and repair work, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and other facility systems.

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair building equipment and systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.

• Support preventative maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend system longevity.

• Maintain knowledge of building systems, equipment, and applicable building codes and regulations.

• Utilize basic computer systems (Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, or similar platforms) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and communicate updates.

• Respond to maintenance requests promptly while prioritizing resident safety and comfort.

• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety procedures, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications for Maintenance Technician:

• Three (3) years of general maintenance experience required, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, or related trades.

• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical experience strongly preferred.

• Basic computer proficiency required, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet-based systems.

• Strong knowledge of building equipment, building systems, and applicable building codes.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.
