Job summary

NCG Hospitality in Phoenix is seeking a Building Maintenance professional for Courtyard Happy Valley Phoenix North, a 2026 USA Today Top Workplace winner. Starting at $20/hour, higher wages may be offered for experienced candidates.

The role requires AM and PM shifts five days a week, including weekends. As a building maintenance technician you’ll perform preventative maintenance (painting, battery replacement, smoke detector checks, HVAC cleaning), and maintain grounds, outbuildings, and

• Maintains grounds, landscaping, outbuildings and parking areas in a clean, safe condition.
• Assists in maintaining pool and spa areas per brand standards and local codes.
• Responds promptly to guest problems and concerns.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Performs guest room preventative maintenance duties such as painting, battery replacement, smoke detector checks and HVAC cleaning
• Maintains the grounds, landscaping, outbuildings and parking areas in a clean, neat, safe and attractive manner
• Assists in maintaining pool, spa and general area of the property according to specific local codes and brand standards
• Promptly responds to reports of guest problems and concerns

To Be Successful In This Role, You'll Bring

• Prior hotel, building or apartment maintenance experience is desirable, but not necessary
• General knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building construction
• Operation knowledge of common power and hand tools
• Ability to perform task-oriented repetitive functions consistently, on-time and error free
• Ability to be patient and creatively problem solve
