Job summary

Manpower is seeking a dependable Building Maintenance Technician in Nashville, TN. This part-time role (30-35 hours) covers facility upkeep, grounds, and event support to foster a safe, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, event setup/teardown, inspections, and coordination with staff. A background in building maintenance and basic repair is preferred; plumbing or electrical skills are a plus.

Qualifications

Building Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a dependable and service-oriented Facilities Maintenance to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining the general building upkeep, cleanliness, appearance, and functionality of our facilities and grounds while supporting church and community events.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks throughout the facility
• Assist with event setup and teardown, including tables, chairs, and equipment
• Conduct basic building inspections and address maintenance concerns
• Support the upkeep of grounds and facility appearance
• Assist with scheduling and coordination of facility-related tasks as needed
• Work collaboratively with staff to ensure a safe and welcoming environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous building/facilities maintenance
• Basic repair skills and knowledge of building maintenance
• Plumbing and/or electrical experience is a strong plus
• Ability to lift, move, and set up equipment for events
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
