Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the First Shift in our Texas facility. The role focuses on building and equipment maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and basic carpentry to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, upkeep of material handling equipment, and responding to alarm calls. Candidates should have 2+ years in facility maintenance and a High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of facility maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing and light carpentry tasks as part of building and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HVAC system and building facilities.
• Carry out minor water and electrical repairs as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance programs.
• Provide maintenance to material handling equipment to ensure service reliability.
• Carry out general carpentry on floors, walls, doors, etc.
• Ensure safety equipment is in proper working order.
• Complete reports after maintenance tasks are completed.
• Respond to security/alarm calls as needed.

Role Purpose

Responsible for the general maintenance of the building and facilities including water, heating, air conditioning, and electrical maintenance.

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain HVAC system.

Required Education and Experience
