Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Fontana, CA is hiring a Group Coordinator Lead- Building Maintenance. The role involves leading a maintenance team in a warehouse setting, maintaining HVAC systems, and performing preventative and minor repairs.

Schedule is Mon-Fri, 7am-3:30pm, pay of $24.50 per hour. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of facility maintenance experience and forklift experience, plus comfort with MS Office 365 tools (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of previous facility maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of warehouse staff in maintenance tasks.
• Provide daily direction and guidance to the work group.
• Train new associates in the work group.
• Maintain HVAC system and perform minor repairs.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain safety equipment and complete maintenance reports.

Role Purpose

Responsible for supporting and leading specified group of individuals in the warehouse/clerical setting.

Provides daily direction and guidance to the work group.

Trains new associates in identified work group.

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain HVAC system.
• Do minor maintenance as needed for water and electrical repairs.
• Carry out preventative maintenance programs.
• Provide maintenance to material handling equipment to ensure service reliability.
• Perform maintenance or general carpentry on items such as floors, walls, doors, etc.
• Ensure all safety equipment is in proper working order.
• Complete required reports when maintenance tasks are completed.
• Answer security/alarm calls as needed.

Required Education and Experience

• 2+ years of previous facility maintenance experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
