Job summary

Straits Retail Property Management Services Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Technician/Supervisor to oversee building maintenance and M&E systems. You will plan maintenance schedules, supervise contractors, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

You will mentor technicians, respond to emergencies, and maintain records for preventive maintenance, while coordinating with tenants and other stakeholders on daily operations.

Qualifications

• ITE or Diploma in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience as Senior Technician or Supervisor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willing to work rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement maintenance schedule for building maintenance, M&E plants and equipment.
• Supervise M&E works by term and ad-hoc contractors, including tenant fittings.
• Monitor and ensure contracted works comply with specifications and statutory requirements.
• Conduct inspection of building for safety and fire-safety regulations and procedures.
• Inspect M&E plants and air-conditioning equipment and establish follow-up actions.
• Mentor technicians and ensure daily routine works per SOP.
• Maintain good rapport with tenants and address their complaints.
• Attend to all emergency situations.
• Maintain records for preventive maintenance and periodic reviews.
• Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.
