Job summary

Aoka is seeking a Building Inspector in Denton, TX to oversee construction projects, ensure safety and code compliance, and guide contractors. This full-time role offers growth toward senior inspector or building official positions with company support.

You will inspect projects, review documents, coordinate with authorities, and maintain thorough records while contributing to high-impact safety outcomes across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in building inspections.
• Current ICC certifications; Texas TSBPE Plumbing Inspector License required.
• Strong knowledge of construction codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction projects to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, codes, and safety standards.
• Review project documents, attend pre-construction meetings, and coordinate with contractors and local authorities.
• Maintain detailed records and prepare timely, professional reports.
• Address questions and concerns from clients and contractors, providing expert guidance.
• Participate in training and company initiatives.
