Job summary

Aoka is seeking a Building Inspector in Dallas, TX to oversee construction projects, ensure safety, and guide contractors—while enjoying competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

As a certified ICC professional with at least 2 years of building inspections experience, you will review plans, attend meetings, coordinate with authorities, and maintain records. Texas TSBPE Plumbing Inspector License is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in building inspections.
• Current ICC certifications; Texas TSBPE Plumbing Inspector License required.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety standards.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting construction plans.
• Organized record-keeping and willingness to learn new inspection software.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction projects to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, codes, and safety standards.
• Review project documents, attend pre-construction meetings, and coordinate with contractors and local authorities.
