Qualifications

• Two years' experience for Building Inspector I.
• Three years for Building Inspector II.
• Four years for Building Inspector III.
• Must possess a valid California Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings and structures for code compliance.
• Explain requirements to owners, builders, and the public.
• Prepare and issue violation notices and permit documents.
• Perform plan reviews and inspections at various sites.
