SAFEbuilt in Wisconsin seeks a Building Inspector for the Kenosha County area. You will perform field inspections at various construction stages, read plans, and report violations, working with a respected team.

Requirements include a WI Commercial Building Inspector license or the ability to obtain one before start, along with strong code knowledge, communication skills, and a valid driver's license. We offer comprehensive benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• State of WI Commercial Building Inspector license or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Commercial Building Inspector license can be acquired by exam or by providing proof of ICC/WI certifications.
• Additional WI certification(s) a plus; municipal code inspection experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections during various stages of construction.
• Read and examine plans and specifications when required.
• Report violations and maintain files/records.
• Perform other related duties as required.
