Job summary
City University School in Memphis is seeking a Building Engineer HVAC or Boiler & Pressure Vessel certified to maintain and repair building automation and HVAC control devices across campus facilities. The role requires 5+ years in commercial/industrial controls, a strong ability to troubleshoot, and proficiency with DDC/pneumatic systems.
The candidate must be on-call as needed and collaborate with operations leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of comprehensive experience in commercial/industrial automatic temperature controls and HVAC systems.
- HVAC or Boiler & Pressure Vessel certification required.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in commercial automatic temperature controls with basic electrical knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance staff and continual maintenance of the overall facility.
- Monitor operation of refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, and backup systems and adjust to ensure proper operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair base building HVAC controls and critical system equipment with proper tool handling.
- Diagnose and calibrate DDC and pneumatic HVAC controls and DX/refrigeration equipment.
