The Falcon Group in Rockville, MD is seeking a Team Lead to guide a Building Envelope team focused on high-rise façade restoration projects. You will perform on-site evaluations, develop reports and design documents, and oversee bidding and construction administration, ensuring code compliance and QA/QC.

Candidates need 5+ years in envelope/facade restoration, experience with concrete, masonry, and steel structures, and a PE or RA license or license-eligible.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with building envelope evaluations, design, and construction oversight.
• Strong experience with cladding systems (fiber cement, ACM, stucco/EIFS, adhered masonry veneer, rainscreens).
• Ability to write clear technical reports and present findings to boards, managers, and client groups.

Aufgaben

• Perform on-site envelope evaluations of roofs, cladding, fenestration, balconies, waterproofing, and related components.
• Develop repair and replacement design documents, including plans and CSI-formatted specs.
• Coordinate solutions with internal architecture, structural, MEP, and forensic teams and ensure code compliance.
• Lead bid packages, pre-bid meetings, RFIs, and contractor selection supportive activities.
• Conduct construction observation visits, review submittals, and support project closeout and QA/QC.
